What2Know

Terms of Use

Last updated: June 16, 2026

1. Acceptance

What2Know is provided by CHASM AI Inc. By using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What What2Know is -- and is not

What2Know reads product labels and gives you informational results about ingredients, allergens, and suitability against the preferences you set. It is an information tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it is not medical, dietary, or veterinary advice.

3. Allergen results are DETECTION, not a safety guarantee

When What2Know reports on an allergen, it is telling you what it detected in the text it was able to read -- for example, "no peanut detected in the ingredients we read." This is not a guarantee that a product is safe. Labels change, ingredients are sometimes unlisted, cross-contact occurs, and a reading can be incomplete or wrong. You must always read the physical product label yourself and follow the guidance of a qualified medical professional for anyone with an allergy or medical condition. Do not rely on What2Know as the sole basis for an allergy-, diet-, or health-related decision.

4. AI-generated content

Results are generated with the help of artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Use the in-app "report this result" control to flag anything that looks wrong.

5. Assumption of risk and limitation of liability

You use What2Know at your own risk and assume responsibility for verifying any information before acting on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CHASM AI Inc. and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on a result, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you; nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Subscriptions

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price, billing period, and any free-trial terms are shown on the purchase screen before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel in your app store account settings. Store purchases are also subject to the store's terms.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, attempt to break or overload it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. If you submit content (such as a price you observed), you confirm you have the right to do so and grant us a licence to use it to operate the service.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be surfaced in the app. Questions: support@what2know.app.

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and apply to the extent permitted by your local law.
